Nathaniel J. "Nate" Nurnberg 47, of Franklin, passed away from cardiac arrest at UMASS University Campus, Worcester, on September 18, 2003.
Nate is survived by his mother, Suzanne, his father Steven, his brother Nicholas and his sister-in-law Brigid all from Franklin and his twins Nadia and Nolan and former wife Nicole from Bixby, OK. He also leaves behind 2 aunts, 5 uncles and 2 cousins.
Nate's passion in life was flying. He got his private pilots license at age 16. In the beginning of his career he was a flight instructor at Norwood Airport, and ultimately became the youngest Citation 10 Captain at NetJets flying all over the world. Unfortunately his career came to an end when he was diagnosed with end stage liver disease, which he fought bravely for many years, which led to his cardiac arrest.
Nate will be greatly missed by those that loved him. He had a great sense of humor, loved reading, history and animals.
At Nate's request there will be no services and a private memorial will be held at a later date.
Donations in his memory may be sent to Yankee Golden Retriever Rescue 110 Chapin Road Hudson, MA 01749.
The Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. is honored to assist the Nurnberg family. guestbook www.oterifuneralhome.com
