RICHFORD - Nelda M. Knox, age 62, passed away at the University of Vermont Medical Center on Monday July 7th, 2025.
She was born on February 10th, 1963, in St. Albans to Eva (Sturgeon) Elliott and the late Robert Pudvah Jr.
Nelda was a lifelong resident of the area and graduated from Enosburg Falls High School in 1982. She was often found enjoying her favorite television shows, from the thrill of NASCAR races to the drama of soap operas and the wonder of animal programs. Her laughter and lively conversations were a constant presence in the lives of those who knew her. Whether it was sharing a story or simply catching up, Nelda cherished her daily phone calls with family and friends, making sure to stay connected to those she loved.
She is survived by her mother, Eva Elliott of North Troy; her siblings, Mary Pudvah of Derby Line, Stewart Pudvah of Berkshire, Roberta Pudvah of West Chazy, NY, Donald Pudvah of Vernon, Robert Pudvah, and Jennifer Pudvah of Swanton; aunt, Virginia Messier and her husband Brian of Berkshire; and several nieces and nephews. Nelda was predeceased by her father, Robert Pudvah Jr.; her brother, Roger Pudvah; and her boyfriend, James Royea.
Friends & family are invited to Nelda's life celebration to include a graveside memorial service on Friday, July 18, 2025 at 1:00 PM at St. Isidore's Cemetery, 246 Mountain Road, Montgomery, VT.
