Nelda Sue Reese, 83, entered into rest on Sunday, July 6, 2025.
Born on October 26, 1941, in Dunklin County, Missouri, Nelda was the daughter of the late Everet and Mildred Townsend Waltrip. After high school, she married the love of her life, Larry A. Reese, on October 26, 1962, and dedicated herself as a devoted homemaker.
As a proud military spouse, Nelda had the opportunity to travel the world. She was a faithful member of The Assembly Church in Warner Robins and found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially crafts, painting, and tending to her garden.
In addition to her parents, Nelda was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Larry; and some of her siblings.
She leaves behind a lasting legacy of love and family. Nelda adored her daughters, Dana, Kim, and Tonia, and cherished the families they built. She took great pride in her grandchildren, who are spread across Texas, Georgia, and Pennsylvania, and delighted in her many great-grandchildren.
Nelda was laid to rest in a private graveside service at Parkway Memorial Gardens.
