Laurens
Nell Marler Pulley, age 81, of Laurens and wife of 58 years to the late Jerry Lee Pulley, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at Martha Franks Retirement Community.
Born in Laurens, she was a daughter of the late Julian and Maude Wilson Marler. Retired from Torrington, Nell was a faithful and lifetime member of Bellview Baptist Church where she was a dedicated choir member and involved in the nursery and children ministries.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marie Bishop (Brad) of Laurens and Missy Manley (Gary) of Gray Court; grandchildren, Addison Manley, Jamie Bishop (Amy), Jace Bishop, and Bennett Bishop; sisters, Peggy Howell, Patricia Weathers, and Shirley Allen; sisters-in-law, Martha Marler and Bobbie Marler; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, Sybil McCune, Bill Marler, Ray Marler, Bobby Marler, Edith Bryson, Curtis Marler, and Kenneth Marler.
The family will receive friends at Bellview Baptist Church on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, from 2:00 -3:00 PM.
A memorial service will follow at 3:00 PM at Bellview Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Darren Rood. A private burial will be held in Bellview Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will be at the home.
Memorials may be made to Bellview Baptist Church, Adult Choir Ministry, 757 Bellview Church Road, Laurens, SC 29360.
The family would like to thank Martha Franks Retirement Community and Lutheran Hospice for their loving care of Mrs. Pulley.
