Nellie Hetz Obituary
Nellie Catherine Hetz, 86, formally of Avilton MD, passed away on September 9, 2024 at Devlin Manor Nursing and Rehab.
Born on April 18, 1938 she was the daughter of the late William Hetz and Ida (Garlitz). She is also preceded in death by 3 brothers, Edward, Lawrence and Bernard; 3 sisters, Alice, Evelyn and Edith. Nellie was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Nellie was formally employed by Flushing Shirt Factory in Grantsville and Schwab Factory in Cumberland. She was a member of Mt Zion Methodist Church.
Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
Nellie was cremated in accordance with her wishes and no services will be held.
