Neva Milray Wilson died August 1, 2025 (First Friday) at 3:00 pm in Aurora, CO, with all the blessings of the Traditional Catholic Church. She was 102 years old.

Neva was born in Julesburg, CO on September 18, 1922, to B. A. and Anna Jean (Liddle) Andersen into a homesteading farming family that included 3 brothers. Her maternal grandfather, Thomas Liddle, was a pioneer in Sedgwick County, a big land owner, and he opened the first bank of "Denver Junction", later renamed Julesburg. She told stories of a memorable childhood; horse racing her cousin at the county fair, pony rides, homemade ice cream, cooking for the sugar beet harvesting crew, dances in town and looking forward to moving to the big city of Denver when she grew up.

She met the love of her life, Leland A. Wilson, in Denver, CO and they married on July 30, 1942, in Cheyenne, WY when he was on leave from the Army. They were married 54 years. They remained in the Denver area and had two boys, Tom and Rick. Neva kept a beautiful house and yard, (growing incredible peonies!), and managed to balance all of that with a 40-year career at Sears. Where she shone most of all was as a wife, mom, and grandma to her large family. She and her husband loved to travel, making it to 49 of the 50 states, as well as several countries. Her grandchildren remember Sunday brunches at the Newport house, with homemade cherry jelly from their tree, (and Grandpa's famous bacon!), as well as camping in the Colorado mountains and traveling with them to Lake Powell, UT. Her great-grandchildren remember Christmas Eves at Granny's, her famous fudge and her gifts of Christmas pajamas, as well as many Sundays cheering on the Denver Broncos.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lee, her brothers Bud, Evan, Bob, and their spouses, her sons Thomas Joe Wilson and Richard Lee Wilson, as well as her grandson, B. Joseph Wilson.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law Elizabeth A. Wilson (Richard), her grandchildren Amy (Michael) Gilmor, Megan (Michael) Dowd, Andrew (Sarah) Wilson, Thomas Wilson, and Zachary (Elizabeth C.) Wilson as well as granddaughter-in-law, Elizabeth F. (B. Joseph) Wilson. She is survived by 30 great-grandchildren; Faith, Joseph, Aidan, Josephine, Mathew, Bernadette, Richard, Margaret, Dominic, Gerald, Patrick, John, Elizabeth, Jacob, Aaron (Eva), Abigail, Benedict (Dominique), Isaac, Jacinta, Anthony, Marilyn, Anelise, Noah, Liam, Declan, Claire, Leland, Adeline, Emilia, Genevieve, and two great-great-grandchildren, Eugene and Eliana. She is also survived by two nieces, Judy Blixt and Roxanne Jacobson and numerous extended family members.

There will be a private rosary, funeral Mass and burial on August 18, 2025, at Fairmount Cemetery officiated by Fr. Carlos Zepeda.
