Nevada S. Choate, 29, of Madison Township, passed away tragically on Sunday, June 15, 2025.
The family will receive friends from 4-7:45 PM on Friday, June 20, 2025 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. There will be a short service beginning at 7:45 PM.
Nevada was born August 31, 1995 in Claridon Township, at UH Geauga Medical Center.
He is survived by his fiancé, Danielle Stich; his daughters, Charlotte Choate (with Danielle) and Mila Choate (with Valentina Milos); mother, Wendy Fick (Lou Sapic) and father, Keith (Michelle) Choate; brother, Zack Choate and paternal grandparents, Sheila (Bill) Manning and Terry Choate. He also leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins and their families as well as a wide circle of friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John E. and Phyllis K. Fick.
Nevada was the best father to his daughters, who were his world. He was also devoted to his family and friends.
He leaves behind to take care of their family, Danielle, the love of his life. They were to be officially married in October. In his heart, she was already his wife; helping to support him, to become the man that he was. Although their time was short, he takes with them their endless love, jokes, kitchen dance parties, date nights and dreams.
"It is not about me; it is about us."
In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to Danielle to help the family raise Charlotte and Mila.
