Nicholas David Broussard, age 37 of Knoxville, passed away unexpectedly from complications during heart surgery on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at Vanderbilt Medical Center.
Nick was born in Louisiana and later moved to Tennessee where he graduated from Farragut High School, class of 2005. Nick had a larger-than-life personality so, after high school he moved to Colorado to pursue his dreams of the mountain life. He decided to move back to Knoxville and earned his Associates of Applied Science Degree as a Surgical Technologist from Virginia College. He was employed by Park West Medical Center. He was passionate about his family, especially his son, Boone and his wife, Chelsea. He was a huge fan of the Tennessee Vols. He loved playing golf and frisbee golf, shooting pool, ping pong and cornhole.
Nick was of strong Catholic faith; he is preceded in death by his grandparents Raoul and Patricia Broussard, and Fleet Blackwell, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Chelsea Broussard; son, Boone Broussard; parents, Bruce and Theresa Broussard; Brother Chris Broussard (Jessica); Sister, Susan Mohr Broussard; grandmother, Linda Pierce; nieces and nephews; Ethan, Braydon, McKenna, Daytin, Kaden, Ayson, and Landon.
Service honoring Nick Broussard will be held at St. John Neumann Church in Knoxville on May 10, 2024, at 11:00 am.
