Obituary for Nicholas "Tony" Antonio Humphery
Nicholas "Tony" Antonio Humphery, age 59, of Owensboro, Kentucky, formerly of Covington, Kentucky, passed away on January 3, 2025. He was born on May 8, 1965, to the late Charles and Gladys Humphery.
Tony was a man who found peace in the simple pleasures of life. His greatest joy came from hunting, fishing, and spending time with his beloved dogs, who were always by his side. Whether in the quiet of the woods or the calm of a lake, Tony cherished these moments of solitude and connection to nature. He had a warm, easygoing spirit that made him a friend to all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his brother, Kevin Humphery, and is survived by his brother, Mike Humphery; his sisters, Priscilla (Lantie) Eubank and Misty (Charles) Allen; and his sister, Danita (Clyde) Harrington. Tony also leaves behind his nephews, Michael Johnson and Joey Yazell, along with many great nieces and nephews, extended family, and a wide circle of friends who will miss his kind heart and easy laughter.
Tony's love for his family, his deep bond with the outdoors, and his unwavering loyalty to his loved ones will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A private family service will be held in Tony's honor. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his memory to a charity of choice or to animal rescue organizations, which Tony held close to his heart.
May Tony rest in peace, reunited with his loved ones and surrounded by the beauty of the outdoors that brought him so much joy.
