McCulloch, Nicholas L. "Nick" age 37 of Fridley, died unexpectedly on February 28, 2021. He is preceded in death by his father Michael and survived by wife, Lidiya McCulloch; mother, Karen McCulloch; sister, Kelly Thompson (Matthew) and two fur babies Tahoe and Gigi. Nick was a graduate of the University of St. Thomas with a degree in marketing. He pursued a career in business; thriving in entrepreneurial endeavors with his engaging personality and capacity to create meaningful connections. One of Nick's inspirations was Disney, and he lived his life based on Walt's motto, "If you can dream it, you can do it." This was evident in his becoming an Eagle Scout, co-founding a company, and participating in countless triathlons and bike races including over a dozen Ironman races. At the end of every Ironman race the announcer shouts "You are an Ironman." Nick, you will always be our Ironman. You are so loved by all your family and friends and have left a legacy that far surpasses what many do in just 37 short years. Nick lived a life filled with extreme passions and every experience was taken to the next level such as elaborate creations in the kitchen or themed road trips to Elkhart. If you would like to honor Nick and his life: love your friends and family, enjoy a Formula 1 race, find the intrinsic motivation to accomplish a goal and learn the moves to Queen's Radio Gaga. Be at peace, we love you Nick. An informal celebration of Nick's life will be planned for a later date. Memorials in Nick's honor to NAMI Minnesota or Animal Humane Society of Minnesota.
