Nicholas Blaine Roche', born June 25, 2001, passed away on Wednesday, July 16th, 2025, at the age of 24. Nicholas was a native and resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He graduated High School as one of the top students in his class from Family Christian Academy and received his Bachelor's Degree (Cum Laude) in Screen Arts from LSU. Nicholas worked in both film making and digital media as well as the hospitality industry, making a lasting impact to all he touched. Nicholas had various interests and hobbies such as art and painting, reading and poetry, photography and filming, playing and listening to music, cooking and baking, playing video games, watching movies, being in touch with nature, being an avid animal lover and was a connoisseur of many coffees and teas. He had great knowledge of various topics that showcased his intelligence past his educational experience and talents. Nicholas was known to be the sweetest person you'd encounter and would love to crack a joke to have a great laugh. He had a humor that was unique and witty. Nicholas always left you with a smile that lit up the room and was genuine, but was well known for the hugs he gave to those he truly loved. He will be remembered greatly by the kindness and care he had for others and not only was his words meaningful but his presence undeniably gravitated as being heartfelt. Nicholas will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving him.
Nicholas is survived by his brothers, Spencer Blaine Roche' and Bryson Blaine Roche'; Grandfather, Charles Roche'; Aunts and Uncles, Glenn Conques (Cornelia), Randy Roche' (Kris), Wayne Conques (Mary Ann), Adele Romero (Danley), Mark Conques (Rita), Carl Conques (Sylvia), Delphine Saltzman, Joan Bellard (Brian), Marlene Newell (James), Camille Henry (Michael), and Melanie Weber (Todd); Niece, Haley Roche'; Nephew, Spencer Barron Roche'; numerous cousins from both sides of the family and his beloved cat, Crunchwrap Supreme.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Barron Blaine Roche' and Kathleen Conques Roche'; and grandparents, Mabel Roche', Lucy Domingue Conques and Willis P. Conques.
Pallbearers will include Spencer Roche’, Bryson Roche’, Glenn Conques, Randy Roche’, Drew Roche’, and Michael Roche’. Honorary pallbearers will include Charles Roche’, Kyle Saltzman, Keith Saltzman, Kevin Saltzman, Carl Conques, Todd Weber, Danny Romero, Neil Romero, Richard Chapa, Salvador Chapa, Jr., Salvador Chapa, III, Zakary Zanovec, Jeffrey Spurlock, Jeff Salemi, Brian Bellard, Wayne Conques, Spencer Barron Roche’, and Mike Henry.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Gabriel Swaggart and Jimmy Swaggart Ministries, Resthaven Funeral Home, and to all who have sent their thoughts, prayers, and condolences to the Roche' family.
Visitation will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home on Saturday, July 26, 2025, beginning at 9:00 AM until services at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
For those who wish to give in lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Jude’s Children's Hospital in the honor and name of Nicholas Roche'.
