William Bodean Davis, age 52, passed away on April 28, 2024. He was a beloved son, nephew, cousin, and friend. He will be deeply missed.
William was born on October 2, 1971 in Tucson Arizona, where he spent much of his childhood. He attended high school at Family Christian Academy in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He was a graduate of World Evangelism Bible College with a B.S. in Church Music. William became a church musician, studio musician, sound engineer, music teacher, and minister of the gospel. He was known for his tech savviness, hard work, dedication, and passion for teaching. He wanted to help others achieve their fullest potential.
William was a devoted friend. He loved spending time with his family and friends, sharing stories, dining out, playing music, and traveling. William enjoyed playing many instruments, recording studio projects, and studying the Bible. He was always eager to share his knowledge and enthusiasm with others.
William was preceded in death by his father, William Gene Davis, and mother, Dovie Lou Krambeer and is survived by his uncle, James B. Woolsey, his cousins, James C. Woolsey, Kevin Woolsey, Kimberly (Woolsey) Roof, and his beloved friends and church and school families at Beam of Life Tabernacle, Emmanuel Christian Fellowship, Family Worship Center, and Greater Baton Rouge Hope Academy.
A memorial service will be held for family and close friends at Beam of Life Tabernacle at 33225 Hwy 75, Plaquemine, LA 70764 on May 10, 2024. Visitation will be at 6 pm with a service at 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Followers of Christ International at https://www.followersofchristintl.com/.
