Caribou - Nicole Marie Rasely, 76, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at the Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. Born on September 25, 1948, in Grand Falls, New Brunswick, Nicole lived a life full of love, laughter, and dedication to those around her.
Nicole had a heart for giving, which was demonstrated through her support for the Shriners Children's Hospital and St. Jude Children's Hospital. She had a beautiful sense of humor, a quick wit, and deeply valued spending time with her family. Nicole was proud of gaining her U.S. citizenship after being born and raised in Canada. Nicole also had a love for painting and had an artistic side. She found joy in cooking for everyone and being with family and friends. Additionally, she loved gardening and caring for her plants and flowers at her home in Caribou.
Nicole was predeceased by her beloved husband, Edward Rasely, her parents, Treffle and Lorraine (Ouellette) Leclerc, siblings, Claudette LeBlanc (Late Alfred) Gabrielle/Gaby Leclerc Maurice Leclerc (Lyne Raymond).
She is survived by her daughters, Claudine Pufahl, Tarah and her husband James Baxley, Charlotte and her husband Peter Bull, as well as her cherished grandchildren: Kyle, Riley, Jacob, Skylar, Franklin, and Josephine, siblings; Énoil /Chris (Priscilla Cormier) Riverview NB Reid (Shirley Laviolette) Grand-Barachois NB Colette (Bruce Dillon) Corunna ON Anne (David Hood) Fredericton NB Christine/Tina (Darryl Trist) Peachland BC Philippe (Shelly Brown) Moncton NB. She also leaves behind many dear friends she met throughout her life.
A private committal service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday, June 13, 2025, at the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery in Caribou.
