Passed away with her family by her side on November 8, 2024, at Jefferson Hospital.
Nicole gravitated toward meeting the needs of others so in her early years she worked in customer service. As she got older her focus was on meeting the physical needs of others. As a result, she became a CNA and home health aide. She always told her mom and stepdad that she would take care of them in their older years.
Nicole had a contagious smile and was loyal to anyone that came into her life. Her kind and loving demeanor spread joy to those around her and she was always happy to care for those less fortunate than herself. She was best described as the 'neighborhood mom'.
Nicole loved to write and cook. Her famous baked macaroni and cheese and her cheesecake were the hit of any get together. She shared a love for anything Disney with her mom. She shared a love of music and games with her dad, Brian Miles, prior to his passing. Growing up, Nicole would sing songs on the radio and TV commercials. She thought she was going to be the next Beyonce.
But most of all Nicole loved her family. Her most prized possessions were her two sons. She always bragged about anything and everything they did in life. Nicole was a loyal, loving, and devoted sister, godmother, and grandmother. She cherished watching her grandson, Messiah, grow.
She was preceded in death by her father, Brian Miles.
Nicole will be dearly missed by her sons, Tahzjhire Williams and Dacavis Stanford; her grandson, Messiah Williams, her mother and stepfather, Kathie and Thomas Adams; her siblings, Joshua Adams (Aoife), Daniel Adams, and Jonathan Adams (Nayly). She is also survived by her cherished friend, Ruth Moyer, and Godson, Camdyn Moss.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service on Wednesday, Nov 13 at 1pm at Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Wilm., DE 19805. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:00pm-1:00pm. Burial will be private.
A testimony to the type of woman Nicole and the loving devotion she showed all.

When Daniel was 12 years old, he moved from the back country of the Pacific Northwest. He was in culture shock moving from country bumpkins to inner city. He was a skinny little freshman who got picked on and bullied, that is until his senior stepsister, Nicole, found out. After that, not a single person dared to cross him. She was a force to be reckoned with and her protection gave him an easy freshman year in an unknown place. Daniel will never forget how much his sister, Nicole, helped him and wants her to know that she was and will forever be loved. Rest in peace, Nicole.
