Nilsa Morla Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 1, 2025.
Nilsa Evelyn Morla was called home to her Lord and Savior on July 28, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on September 4, 1942, San Juan, Puerto Rico, Nilsa's journey through life was marked by love, devotion, and faith.
Nilsa's story began with her migration from Puerto Rico to New York then finally to Miami Florida. In Miami, she met the love of her life, Ramon, they married in the early 1960s and were blessed with 7 Sons. Nilsa served as a clerk for Miami Dade County, a role she truly loved. Nilsa's work ethic was unparalleled. Her commitment to her work was
only matched by her commitment to her family. In the heart of her home, Nilsa cultivated a space filled with joy and laughter. In her free time she enjoyed time spent with family especially her sisters, they were her confidants and companions.
"She was a devout Christian whose faith was the cornerstone of her life. Church was her sanctuary, a place where her spirit came alive. She found deep comfort and joy in gospel and praise music - it lifted her soul, spoke to her heart, and brought her closer to God. Her love for the Lord shone through everything she did, touching the lives of everyone around her."
She leaves to mourn her children: Ramon, Richard, Randy, Ronald, Robin, Roy and Ralph. Siblings: Ena, Betty, Lourdes, Lucy, and Oscar; Grandchildren: Robert, Genesis, Randy Jr., Ryan, Joshua, Robin Jr., Eric, Madison, Roy Jr., Kevin, Sean, Ralph Jr., Samantha, Richard, Russell, Rey, Star and Ronnie Jr.; And a host of great-grandchildren, each one a precious addition to her family tree. She is predeceased by her siblings Hilda and Ito and grandchildren: Ramon Jr., Richard Jr., and Megan. May her soul rest in peace.
