Nina Faye Fretz was called to her Heavenly home on July 19, 2025. She was the daughter of Walter Leonard and Ruby Bell Spencer. Nina married the love of her life Melvin Eugene Fretz. She was sweet, kind, generous, and a loving wife, mother, grandma, aunt, and friend. She will be deeply missed.

Nina is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jess, Sam, Jack; sister & best friend Dorothy; son, Billy; daughter, Shonda; and great grandson Justin Jr.

She leaves cherished memories of her precious love and kindness with her daughters Sandra Scholle and husband Joe and Beverly Hallman and husband Dave; 9 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; her precious nephews and nieces; and many friends.

Nina was a stay at home wife and mother for many years until she worked as a baker. She never met a stranger and could find something to like about everybody. She had a love for children that was infectious; kids were attracted to her and her to them. Even through her last days she was trying to help others. Nina was a woman of faith and loved her Lord and Savior. Ther is no doubt heaven is rejoicing having her home.
