David A. Niles passed from this life on October 4, 2025, at the age of 68, following a courageous ten-month battle with cancer. He was born on June 14, 1957, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Neil and Betty Niles.

David grew up in Oklahoma City and attended U.S. Grant High School. After graduating, he worked several jobs around the Oklahoma City area before finding his lifelong profession as an electrician and electrical contractor. He dedicated 27 years of his career to Metal Container Corporation, where he was respected for his hard work, expertise, and commitment. Following his well-earned retirement, David continued to stay active and involved in the things and people he loved most.

David had a deep passion for life and a love for the outdoors. He enjoyed traveling-especially to the beautiful mountains of Colorado-along with golfing, hiking, and spending quality time with his family. He took great pride in his home and yard, finding joy in lawn care and gardening. In recent years, one of David's greatest accomplishments was graduating from a two-year theology program, The Institute, at First Baptist Church in Mustang, Oklahoma-an achievement he was extremely proud of. He was also an active member of several prayer and Bible study groups, including the Revive Thursday Prayer Group at FBC, where his faith and fellowship with others flourished.

David is preceded in passing by his parents, Neil and Betty Niles; sisters, Donna Hutto and Sherri Moss; grandson, Brock Niles; and brother-in-law, Bruce Hayes.

Those left to cherish his memory and continue his legacy include his loving wife, Linda Niles; his children, Kristy and Jesus Villar, David Jr. and Kelly Niles, Joey Niles, and Neil and Amber Niles; and Linda's children, Charles and Sarah Conn, and Chad and Kelly Trammell. He was a proud grandfather to Jilliyn Niles, TJ Niles, Martin and Kandace Niles, Cameron and Paris James, Clayton and Lyndsey Niles, Grant Villar, Yzabelle Villar, Jessa Villar, Caymus Niles, Theodore Niles, Gracelyn Niles, Joshua Conn, Harmony Conn, Abigail Conn, Charles Conn Jr., Rachel Conn, Austin Trammell, Destiny Trammell, Chris Trammell, and Cadance Trammell, and a great-grandfather to ten beloved great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Pam Shaw and Nancy Hayes; brother-in-law, Drannon Moss; and many extended family members and dear friends who will miss him deeply.

David will be remembered for his unwavering faith, generous heart, and the love he shared so freely with everyone around him.
