Nina M. Votolato

Nina Marie Madeline Votolato, age 69, of Canton, Ohio, passed away at her home on February 18, 2024. She was born August 8, 1954, and was the beloved daughter of Nicolas A. and Anne G. (Gambone) Votolato. Nina leaves behind dear friends to cherish her memory, Justin Ross, Jim Weaverling; Bill Lagerstrom and Lee F. White from Lazarus Ministries; her devoted CNA Dawn Turnbull and her wonderful health coach, Patti Wohlin.
Nina was tremendously kindhearted and absolutely loved helping others. She was driven and ambitious and always worked toward her dreams. In that vein she worked as a Master Electrician for 23 years at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York, while doing the lighting for Broadway shows. She also life modeled for the New York Institute of Art and Design. When she moved to Ohio, she obtained a master's in Rehab Counseling in 2000. Additionally, she had formal training as a Reiki Master, specializing in energy and spiritual healing which she gave away generously. She will be deeply missed as her life and legacy are cherished for many years to come.
Guests are welcome to Memorial Calling Hours on Friday, March 8, 2024, from 4PM until 5PM at the Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel. A Celebration of Life service will begin at 5PM.
