Noah Ocean Sullivan Dos Santos Crucillo peacefully passed away in the arms of his parents and into the arms of God, on the morning of December 24, 2021, after battling severe decompensated heart failure at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for two months. Baby Noah as he was affectionately known by, was born Dec 1, 2020, at Brigham and Women's Hospital for specialized care. At the young age of 1 year and 24 days old, our darling Baby Noah lived and was loved more than some are in a lifetime.
Our beloved Noah Ocean, born into a strong and loving family with international roots, resided in Spring Lake, New Jersey with his parents, Samantha and Leonardo, and his big brother, Shea. Noah is survived by Maternal grandparents, Tracy, and Barry Sullivan of Manasquan and Paternal grandparents, Sonia and Domenico Dos Santos Crucillo of São Paulo, Brazil.
Noah was born with a rare chromosome disorder, full trisomy 13, which sadly is a life limiting prognosis-however guided by his mother and father – Samantha and Leonardo Sullivan Dos Santos Crucillo- their faith in God's divine plan, lead them to pursue big dreams for Noah to experience life to the fullest, in his own way.
With Noah's fleeting time here on earth, he touched the lives of many and was deeply loved by his family and friends. Noah was and still is the center of his family. He enjoyed listening to Brazilian music, specifically Marililia Mendoza, every single day dancing with his daddy in the living room and singing with his mommy who didn't know the words, but it made him laugh anyway. Noah loved playing with his toys-- an activity gym he would hit so hard with his hands that he would make himself rollover. Play time was always in the morning when his brother Shea woke up and in the afternoon when Shea came home from school. Every afternoon meant lunch and naps on the couch as a family of four together. Noah was a cherished member at CrossFit Speakeasy, where he watched his mommy and daddy work out every single day.
Noah adored being cuddled, kissed and tickled, especially under his chin. He was forever soothed by running your hands down the bridge of his noise, that instantly would trigger his eyes to softly shut. His eyes lit up whenever he heard his name. "Oh, Noah or "Cada Noah." His smile is so big that if it weren't for his adorable chubby cheeks, it would've been even bigger.
A very special thanks too Bayada Pediatrics Nursing Agency, who not only provided exceptionable care to Noah every day but loved doing it. Ms. Margaret, Ms. Tony, Ms. Liz, Ms. Maureen, Ms. Stacy – you are forever family and hold a special place in Noah's heart. Also, a special thank you to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia – Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, Heart Failure Clinic, and nurses. Lastly, we want to thank our parish of St. Catharine, Spring Lake and the community for the love, support and prayers during this impossible time.
Despite being disabled, Noah's life is a gift from the Heavenly Father and Blessed Mother themselves. There was never going to be enough time for him on this earth. Noah is an extraordinary boy, whom even with his complex cares, was the easiest baby to take care of. He was simple-- he wanted to love and be loved.
"An angel from the book of life, wrote down my baby's name, and said too beautiful for life"
