Noreen Davis Obituary
Noreen G. Davis, 70, of Mooresville, passed away peacefully at Franciscan Health Mooresville on January 23, 2025. She was born in Indianapolis on August 28, 1954, to the late Woodrow and Bertie (Leonard) Stanley.
Noreen was a CNA at the Waters of Martinsville for 20 years before her retirement in 2020.
She married Kevin Joe Davis on October 29, 2004, and he preceded her in death on September 29, 2022.
Noreen loved the outdoors, yard work, fishing, and mushroom hunting. She took pride in tending to her flower and vegetable gardens. Noreen never passed up a deal at yard sales and antique shops. She also loved traveling and playing cards with her family.
In addition to her parents, Noreen is preceded in death by her husband, Kevin Joe Davis; grandson, Joshua Callahan; brother, Woodrow Stanley; and beloved dog, Jack.
Survivors include her children, Robert Scruggs (Margaret) and Rachelle DeSilva (David Pitcher); step-sons, Brent Davis (Mayra), Brad Davis (Misty), Kevin Davis, Jr.; sister, Linda Barnes (Mike); grandchildren, Larry Combs (Maria), Heather Ham Eads (Josh), Laicea Browning Smith (Shawn), Savanna Scruggs, Amanda Callahan (Charlie), Jessica Callahan, Kerri Winebrenner (Devin), Emilie Scruggs, Jackie Scruggs, Kameren Scruggs; step-grandchildren, Dusty, Brent Jr., Brittany, Ashley, Kara, Ethan, Melanie, Allison, Conner, Kelsei, Kirsten, Christian, Tyler; 19 great-grandchildren; 7 step-great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Leah Barlow, Nyla Cooper; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Noreen’s Life Celebration® Visitation and funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the chapel at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory in Mooresville, with the service beginning at 1:00 p.m.
