Norma Jean Dillon

Mrs. Norma Jean Dillon, age 71, of Lebanon, Virginia passed away Wednesday (February 5,2025) in Abingdon, Virginia. Born June 11, 1953 in Williamson, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Elmer William and Marie Bailey Cassady. She was a 1971 graduate of Iaeger High School and had worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for many years at Russell County Medical Center and finishing her nursing career at Dr. Barker's office in Honaker. She was a member of the Worship Center at Swords Creek and enjoyed drawing, sewing, and gardening.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Dillon, Sr.
Survivors include two children, B.J. Street and husband, Tony of Abingdon and Jackie Dillon, Jr. of Honaker; three grandchildren, Cassie Wilson and husband, Hunter of Boise, Idaho, Jacob Dillon and Kristen Tyler both of Swords Creek; four sisters, Phyllis Brooks and husband, Larry of Lebanon, Darlene Osborne of Athens, West Virginia, Judy Hale and husband, Darrell of Elk Garden, and Iva Rarick and Chris of Bluefield; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Pastor Larry Brooks officiating. Interment will follow in Ketron Memorial Gardens at Lebanon, Virginia.
Pallbearers will be Timmy Altizer, Jackson Altizer, Colton Stinson, Danny Stinson, A.J. Whited, and Landon Whited.
Honorary pallbearers will be Darrell Hale, Chris Rarick, and Hunter Wilson.
The family will receive friends after 6 PM Sunday at Honaker Funeral Home.
