Norma June Gollott Sentelle, 89 of Vancleave, MS passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 in the comfort of her home.
She was born on June 29, 1934 in Biloxi, MS to Joseph Elmer Gollott, Sr. and Gwendola Extine Gollott. She owned an upholstery shop for over thirty years. She was extremely artistic and could make or create anything that she put her mind to, from beautiful oil paintings to ceramic dolls and reborn dolls. She could sew anything, whether from a pattern or from only a drawing or picture. Her favorite past time was crocheting, and she spent many hours and years making baby blankets and booties for new grandbabies and great-grandbabies to come, but her main priority in her life was her family. She was completely selfless and always put her family first over her own wants and needs.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Elmer Gollott, Sr. and Gwendola Extine Gollott; spouse, Frank Elmer Sentelle; and brother, Joseph Elmer Gollott, Jr.
She is survived by her children, Frank Nathan (Debbie) Sentelle, Sr., Timothy Lynn Sentelle, Tracie Kay (Chris) Craft, and Cindy Ann (Jeffrey) Belk; grandchildren, Kimberly Landsdown, Nathan (Amy) Sentelle, Jr., Nick (Tonya) Sentelle, Melody (Randall) Wilson, Scott Sentelle, Amber Sentelle, Amy Bauman, Savannah (Justin) Thorpe, Ryan (Meg) Craft, David (Anna) Belk, Austin Craft, Colin Belk, and Andrew Belk; numerous great-grandchildren; and a beloved niece, Sandra Gollott Fletcher and family.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all her home health nurses and to Dr. Obinna Nnedu, Ochsner’s Infectious Disease Dr., who gave her many more precious years with her family.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at First Baptist Church of Vancleave, MS. Friends may visit one hour prior. Burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
