Norma Locantore
June 16, 1932 – June 27, 2025 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Norma Locantore - beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend - who departed this life peacefully on June 27, 2025.
Norma was the devoted wife of the late Fred Locantore, the love of her life for 68 beautiful years. She was the cherished mother of Michele Perri, Claudine Villani, and Christine Occhipinti, along with their respected families. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she was a proud, loving, and ever-present force in their lives.
Her bright blue eyes sparkled with warmth and lit up every room she entered. Norma's generosity and joyful spirit touched everyone she met. Her fun-loving nature shone through in her love of singing, dancing, cooking, playing cards, bingo, slot machines, and visiting the casino. She also had a creative soul, finding joy in making jewelry and celebrating all things Italian - especially food, traditions, and the importance of family. For many years, she and Fred enjoyed being snowbirds, spending their winters in sunny Florida surrounded by friends, laughter, and sunshine.
Norma had a remarkable gift for striking up a conversation with anyone, anywhere, and always left people smiling. She truly was the life of every party, and her beautiful spirit lives on in the hearts and eyes of her grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dementia Society of America
