CHURCH HILL – Norma Sue Pearcy, 82, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025. Sue was born on October 4, 1942, in Wise Co., VA. to her parents, Amos and Thelma (Dulaney) Pearcy. She retired from Eastman Chemical Company after 30 years of service. Sue was saved at an early age and loved to worship the Lord, and she was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church in Church Hill for over 30 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her nephews, Bradley Stephen and Eric Scott Christian; brothers–in-law, Walker Christian, Jr. and Jimmy Moore; and her sister-in–law, Elizabeth Pearcy. Sue is survived by her brother, Kyle Pearcy; sister, Patricia Moore; along with one niece, Rebecca Christian; great -niece, Brooke Spivey; great - nephews, Peyton (Sydnee), Paxton and Parker Christian; as well as several cousins and many friends. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Church Hill Memory Gardens with Pastors Ed McLain and Aaron Knight officiating. Friends and family are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:45. Sue's nephews will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Bethel Colony of Mercy, 1675 Bethel Colony Rd., Lenior, NC 28645, or a charity of your choice.
