Reilly, Norma T., age 97, of North Haledon, on Friday, May 9, 2025.
Born and raised in Paterson, Norma later moved to North Haledon where she had lived for most of her life. She had also spent seven years living in Malahide, Ireland. A registered Nurse, Norma worked at St. Joseph's Hospital in Paterson and primary care physician's offices throughout her career. In her spare time, Norma enjoyed spending time with her family, being at home, and was introduced to homecooked zucchini made by her daughter Maureen. She lived a full life and traveled extensively throughout Europe with Italy becoming one of her favorite locations.
Norma was the beloved wife of the late Edward C. Reilly (2003); in 1957 they built the house and pool she loved so much, and later together they amassed one of the largest personal collections of antique Irish Belleek porcelain in the world. Loving mother of Patricia D'Arco of North Cape May, Eileen Janovsky and her husband William of Warwick, NY, and Maureen Christensen and her husband Lloyd of Spring, TX, and Michael Reilly of Tarrytown, NY. Grandmother of eight and great grandmother of nine. Predeceased by her brother, Charles Musilli, Jr. She is also survived by her dear nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at 12:30pm, at Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Avenue, Hawthorne. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa. Friends may visit with the family prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home from 11:00am – 12:30pm.
