Phillipsburg resident, Norma Jane Schick passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025 in the Phillips County Hospital, Phillipsburg, at the age of 91.

She was born July 20, 1934 in Phillips County, KS the daughter of William and Alma (Preuss) Wagner.

On October 10, 1954 she was united in marriage to Max Schick. He survives.

Other survivors include her children Merlyn Schick of Phillipsburg, Anita Powell and husband Joel of Gretna, NE, Steven Schick of Phillipsburg, and Nancy Jenner and husband Mike of Prairie View, KS; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren with one coming soon; and her brother Ivan Wagner and wife Phyllis of Phillipsburg.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 27, 2025 in the Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Stuttgart, KS, with Pastor Kathy Whitney officiating. Burial will follow in the Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery.

Mrs. Schick will lie in state from noon until 9 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg, with the family receiving friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday evening for visitation.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church.
