Mrs. Norma Lyons Tippit, age 77 of Indian Mound, TN passed away on Monday, January 8 2024 at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born in Clarksville, TN on August 25, 1946 the loving daughter of Norman and Anna Perry Lyons. She was an amazing cook and enjoyed having her family together. Norma always put others first and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Noma loved the Lord. She and her husband were faithful members of Cross Creek Baptist Church, Indian Mound, TN. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister-in-law, aunt and loyal friend to many.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Anna Lyons.
Norma leaves behind her loving and devoted husband of 60 years, Patrick Tippit who she happily married on February 29, 1964; daughters, Valerie Robin Riehle of Panama City, FL and Victoria Anne Hill and husband Jeff of Clarksville, TN; grandchildren, Corey Riehle of Chicago, IL, Kayce Moreau and husband Cole of Panama City, FL, Alexandra Hill of Clarksville, TN; sister-in-law, Marcia Robertson and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Fairview Cemetery, Indian Mound, TN with Bro. Joe Shannon officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt Thank you to LeAnn and all the staff at Tennessee Quality Hospice Care for the loving care and devotion given to their loved one during this time.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cross Creek Baptist Church building fund in Norma's memory.
