Norman Carl Bantleon

Norman "Norm" Bantleon, 77, of Grosse Pointe Woods, MI passed away on Monday, September 4, 2023. He was born on May 21, 1946 to loving parents Leonhardt and Esther (Kahler) Bantleon in Detroit, MI. Norman was raised in Grosse Pointe Woods and graduated from Grosse Pointe High School. He was a lover of Lake St. Clair, and especially enjoyed time spent with his close friends. Norman also enjoyed boating, cars and road trips. Norman is survived by his older brother Leonard Bantleon, his sister-in-law Joanne (Helwig), and his nieces, Lisa (Lee) Thomas, Sheila (Mike) Siloac, Linda Hunter, Stacey (William) Kesel, and Tracey (Roland) Pascua, extended family, and close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonhardt and Esther Bantleon.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, September 10, 2023 from 2-4pm at A.J. Desmond and Sons Funeral Home, 2600 Crooks Rd, Troy, MI 48084 (248.362.2500). A service will take place at 4pm following visitation. A private interment will be held at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, MI at a later date.
