In Loving Memory of Norman "Dave" Davis
July 3, 1951 – April 13, 2025
Norman Davis, lovingly known as "Dave" to friends and family, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2025 at the age of 73. Born on July 3, 1951, Dave lived a life full of laughter and love for the things that brought him joy.
Dave had a deep-rooted love for all things loud, bold, and larger than life. He was a lifelong fan of hot rods, always able to identify the make and model of any car that rumbled by. His appreciation for classic wrestling, monster movies, and superheroes gave him a spark that never dimmed, and he could talk for hours about the legends of the ring or the monsters of the silver screen. He also relished the timeless antics of the Three Stooges.
Music played a big role in his life, and there was nothing quite like the sound of a record spinning for Dave. He had an incredible collection and could often be found lost in the rhythm of his favorite tunes.
He was also a man who loved the simple joys in life-especially going out to eat. Whether it was a favorite local diner or trying something new, Dave believed good food was best enjoyed with good company.
He is survived by three siblings, Stephen Davis (Jennifer) of NY, Jeffrey Davis (Lesa) of New Brunswick, Karin Brodzik (Michael) of Pittsgrove and one niece Ciera and four nephews Seth, Kyle, Cullen and Conner, who will forever cherish his spirit and the light he brought into their lives. He was preceded in death by his loving parents Norman "Shorty" Davis and Blanche Davis.
Rest in peace, Dave-you were one of a kind, and you'll be missed beyond words.
A graveside service will take place on Monday April 21 at 11 am at Overlook Cemetery in Bridgeton.
