His Legacy Norman Foerster, 87, passed away September 27, 2023. He was born on July 11, 1936, in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Norman Foerster and Elizabeth (Porter) Foerster. Norman married the love of his life, Lois Hardesty, on April 11, 1958, in Salem, Michigan. Norman served 8 years in the U.S Marine Corps and 18 years in the National Guard Reserve. He was very proud of serving his country. Norman was a quiet man of few words. In his youth he enjoyed racing cars and snowmobiles. In his later years, he liked spending quiet days on his boat on the river. He loved being with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Norman was dearly loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
His Family Norman will be missed by his children, Diane (Jerry) Gransden, James Foerster, Gregory Foerster; sisters, Patricia (Harry) Detweiler, Mary Rudd; 7 grandchildren; and numerous great- grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Lois Foerster; parents, Norman and Elizabeth Foerster; and sister, Sandra Hoard.
