Norman C. Gosselin, age 91, of Methuen, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 16, 2025.
Born in Haverhill in 1934, Norman was the beloved son of the late Joseph and Evangeline (Lalumiere) Gosselin. He was the devoted husband of the late Louise T. (Skiba) Gosselin, with whom he shared nearly 50 years of marriage filled with love, laughter, and fond memories.
Norman was the proud and caring father of Julie LeMieux and James M. "Jim" Gosselin, and he adored Jim's girlfriend Michaela Blaney. He was the cherished grandfather of Isabelle, Ava, Evangeline, Keenan, Jaycek, and Eleanor, who were the joy of his life. In addition to his parents, Norman was predeceased by his sister Lucille Bergeron and her late husband Leo.
A man of many passions, Norman loved tennis and pickleball, and he was an avid reader who always had a book nearby. He enjoyed the companionship of his cat, Jayci, and could often be found playing card games, especially his favorite, 45s. Big band music filled his home, and he cheered enthusiastically for all New England sports teams.
Norman's strong faith guided him throughout his life, and his devotion to family was unwavering. He delighted in supporting his grandchildren at their events, always present with encouragement and pride. He and Louise used to treasure nights out with friends, sharing laughter and stories that became lifelong memories.
Known for his great sense of humor, Norman always had a joke ready to brighten someone's day. His warmth and kindness made him a friend to anyone he met, leaving behind a legacy of joy, generosity, and love.
Norman's life was a testament to the power of family, faith, and friendship. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Visiting Hours will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2025 from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street, Methuen. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated the following morning, Monday, November 24, 2025 at 10:00 am at St. Michael's Parish, 196 Main Street, North Andover. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
