Anthony J. Perrotta, 46, of Methuen, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 10, 2025, at the Lawrence General Hospital. Anthony was born and raised in Methuen, and at an early age, he showed an incredible spirit and sense of humor that would define his life and touch everyone who knew him.
Anthony was a proud graduate of Central Catholic High School, class of 1997. He was a standout athlete in both football and wrestling, earning honors, like being selected to the Caroll Classic All Star Game. Anthony then continued his academic and athletic career playing football for UMass-Lowell, and Southern New Hampshire University where he earned his MBA in finance. Anthony was the Chief Financial Officer for Macro Health, where he laid the foundation for a distinguished career in finance.
At just sixteen, Anthony met the love of his life, Stacia, his high school sweetheart. The two shared an unbreakable bond that grew stronger over the years, culminating in nearly thirty years of marriage built on love and laughter. Together they raised four beautiful children. Anthony was the cherished father of daughters: Ava, Sophie, and Savannah; and son, Anthony. Nothing brought him greater joy than being surrounded by his family. From being on the sidelines at his kids' sporting events, to hosting gatherings with family and friends, he was always doing the most he could to bring smiles to those he loved.
Anthony had a larger-than-life personality that would light up a room no matter what the environment. He was an avid sports enthusiast, as both a fan and coach, finding joy in teamwork and competition. He also had a lifelong love of Star Wars and comic books that were infectious. In the kitchen, Anthony was a passionate cook, known for crafting meals that brought people together, especially his incredible spreads for the Italian Christmas parties.
To all who knew him, Anthony will be remembered as an incredible husband and father, a loyal friend, and someone who never hesitated to lend a hand or share a kind word. His genuine heart and incredible sense of humor and sarcasm brought joy to everyone who knew him.
