Norman Brown Hunter, of Lake Saint Louis, MO, passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Ruth Hunter; cherished son of the late Maude and Dennie Hunter; devoted father of Jeffrey (Tamra) Hunter and Jan (Doran) Hoskins; loving grandfather of Hunter (Michelle) Ulrich, Sheila (Taylor) Monts, Chris (Amanda) Hoskins, and John (Caitlin) Hoskins; treasured great grandchildren of Mae Monts, Canaan Hoskins, Emma Hoskins, Hattie Hoskins, Walker Hoskins, and one on the way; dear brother of Marie (the late Doyle) Harris and the late Frank (Ima-surviving) Hunter.
Norman proudly and honorably served in the United States Air Force for four years. He was married to the love of his life, Ruth, for 64 wonderful years, and together they enjoyed traveling to all 50 states and several other countries. A quiet and kind man, Norman loved spending time with his grandchildren and especially his great-grandchildren. He worked at GM for 34 years before retiring and enjoyed fishing, boating, and vacationing with his wife and family at the Lake of the Ozarks. Norman was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made in Norman's name to the American Heart Association.
