Norman Morris Sandy Jr. 1964-2024 A dedicated family man known for his kindness and love for his family. He was a project man who could fix most anything. His impeccable work ethic was an admired attribute. Norman Morris Sandy, aged 60, of Ardsley, Pennsylvania, died peacefully surrounded by his family on July 19, 2024. He was born in Abington, Pennsylvania to Norman and Sharon Sandy. Brother of Edward Sandy and Dawn Sandy Evans (deceased). Survived by loving wife Jeannie Lydia Sandy (Condon), children Eric Michael, Bonnie Jeanne Young, (John) Caroline Rose Tropiano,(Joseph); grandchildren Jaxon James, Aspen Rae, Lydia Jeanne and soon to arrive, baby Santino Joseph Tropiano; and bonus sons Logan Bradley Hall and Stefan L. Taylor. He is also survived by nephews, great-nephews, nieces, and great nieces. Norman met the love of his life, Jeannie in 1979 in Ardsley, Pennsylvania and married in 1986. Together they created a home full of love and raised their children primarily in Pennsylvania then later moving to Sewell, New Jersey. They then moved back to Pennsylvania in 2022 to relish in the joy of welcoming all of their grandchildren. Though Norman loved tinkering around in his workshop and being part of the IT industry, his proudest role was being a parent and grandparent. Norman took great pride in his children, all of whom made him so proud of their dedication to the foundation of the family he and Jeannie nurtured. Known affectionately as "Grump", Norm treasured time with his grandchildren and built a custom nursery for Santino with love. He had a soft spot for all furry friends, treating them like family members. Norman forged significant friendships throughout his life, demonstrating loyalty and dedication to those he loved. Norman began his career at Franklin Security. He worked briefly at Girsh Security and longtime with AAC. Then in 1993 he went back to school to change careers and entered into IT. He ended his career with Caring People Alliance as their IT Manager. Norman will forever be remembered for his ability to mentor those in need offering kindness and generosity always. He was the example of a stand-in father to many. The impact he had on our lives will be long lasting and revered as a treasure for us to share with others.
