While the "Stinkin´ RiverDawgs" friends have been together over 50 years, we have had the questionable privilege of hosting an annual campout gathering for 25+ years.
Norm was a percussionist, camp cook, a master gardener, fierce competitor in disc golf, and lover of nature. He was also a writer, who could pen a very entertaining "Nortwoods" story. A fun guy, who appreciated a good meal, a blue sky, and music sessions with his olde time Riverdawg buddies. His greatest values in life were not monetary, but moments shared with friends. Ah Norm, you´ve left a hole in our lives that could only be filled by a Riverdawg Curmudgeon.
We hope Norm, you are kayaking a clear river, and at the end of the day, enjoy a good camp meal under a starry sky. May you find peace Eggman, and know you will be missed.

We are the Riverdawgs. For the past 50 years 4 or 5 of us have gotten together 2-3 times a year for camping, canoeing (kayaking), x-country skiing, pickin´ & grinnin´. One of those times happened recently. Norm was not with us because he was in the hospital. He died that Monday night. Norm will be missed deeply and often. REST IN PEACE MY DEAR FRIEND

Norm, we will always remember your kind heart and your love for Jasper. Your work at the library was such a blessing to both Tom and I. Thank you for a great friendship, our morning chats...we learned a lot from you, about your favorite movies, shared some great stories and recipes over the years, but most importantly, your smile and laugh. May you rest in peace now.

I'll miss you big brother, our phone conversations, recipe exchanges, and plan old chit chat. Rest piece full. Gone to soon.
