Normand Joseph Boissonneau, 90, died peacefully on Saturday, December 27th, 2025 at Morton Plant North Bay Hospital. He is the beloved husband of Diane L. (Dupont) Boissonneau with whom he shared 65 years of marriage.
Normand was born in Franklin, New Hampshire on December 31, 1934 and was the son of the late Louis and Regina Boissonneault. He received his education in Manchester, NH. In his early years, he served in the US Navy. He was employed for 37 years at Foster Grant Sunglasses in Manchester NH/Leominster MA. In later years he was a 19 year employee of Publix until retirement.
Through the years, Normand enjoyed many sports. He played softball, refed hockey, was a member of a bowling team and into his 90's loved to play golf with friends. When he wasn't playing sports, he enjoyed watching sports on TV and going to local professional games. He enjoyed walking his dog Ted daily.
Normand is also survived by his loving 4 daughters, Norma Eckert of Petaluma, CA, Sheryl Doherty an her husband John of Tyngsborough, MA, Audrey Boissonneau and her partner Jack Waldvogel of San Jose, CA and Heidi Sheffer and her husband Greg of Mill Valley, CA; his six grandchildren, Sarah Boissonneau, Dalton Eckert, Patrick and Allison Doherty, Makayla and Kellen Sheffer; 2 Great Grandchildren, Shivani and Kylee. He is also survived by his sister, Anita Piotrowski, as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Henry Boissonneau and his wife Carmel and brother in-law, Ronald Piotrowski.
