Oleta M Reed age 93 died May 11, 2024, was born on April 8th, 1931, in Berthoud Co to Gale and Georgia (Hawkins) Marshall. Oleta went to school in Estes Park, Co 1947 she married Bryon Tedder in Estes Park, Co on January 1, 1948. After his death in 1989 she married Everett Reed of Berthoud, Co on November 16, 1994. Everett died on February 6th, 2001. Where she then became the companion to Harry Bernhardt from 2002-2007. Oleta is a beloved member of Berthoud Family Church where she loved and adored her church family. Oleta lived most of her life in Estes Park, Co where she had a cleaning business for many years. Oleta began her love for Christ by attending the First Baptist Church in Estes Park and then to the Church of Christ. She belonged to the American Legion Ancillary for 33 years in Estes Park and then in John Day Oregon and was a past president. She is survived by three children Sharon Sprague, in Loveland Co. Doris Valdez and husband Tony of Akron and Cliff and his wife Susan of Estes Park, Co 10 grandchildren, Brian, Clint, Virgene, Bobby, Brett, Brenda, Jimmy, Ryan, Dustin and Trevor who meant the world to her! Multiple great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Also, her sister Opal Bell of Texas. She was preceded in death of her parents, two husbands, Daughter Carolyn Walker and son in law Dilles Walker of Akron, Co. Sister Shirley Wright and Brothers Donald Marshal Elven Marshal and Harold Marshall
Any Donations can be made to Berthoud Family Church in Oleta Reed's memory for a tree to be planted on church property
There will be a grave side service on May 24, 2024, at 10 a.m. located at Foothills Garden of Memory, followed by a potluck celebration of life at Berthoud Family Church
