Olga H. Carrizales, a pillar of faith and love in her community, ended her earthly course on the 5th of July 2025. Born on October 29, 1937, in Nueva Rosita Coahuila, Mexico, Olga's life was a testament to the strength and beauty of a life well-lived in devotion to God and family. She departed this world in Axtell, Texas after a valiant battle with congestive heart failure, leaving behind a legacy of unwavering faith and unconditional love.
Olga's journey began Mexico, and her radiance only grew as she embraced life with vigor and passion. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, children Simon Carrizales III, Christine DelaRosa and spouse Raul, Darlene Hanssard and spouse Terry, Dora M Dushane and spouse Steven, Nancy York, Mary E. Kirby and spouse Michael, John M Carrizales and spouse Agatha, Daniel Carrizales and spouse Shantell, Ida C Horne and spouse Vincent, Joe Carrizales, and David Carrizales and spouse Mackenzie. Each child, a reflection of Olga's love and commitment to her family's spiritual and personal growth. Olga was a phenomenal grandmother, each of her 22 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild were her pride and joy.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Simon Carrizales Jr., Sasha DelaRosa Green, and Hannah Everly Palmer.
A homemaker in the truest sense, Olga's home was an extension of her heart. It was a place where every meal was prepared with love, every seam was sewn with care, and every plant in her garden grew under her tender watch. Her role as a Bible teacher minister was not confined to the walls of her home; she shared her wisdom and faith with all who sought it, touching countless lives through her ministry. Olga's passion for Bible teaching was evident in the way she lived her life, always grounded in the Word of God and eager to share the hope found in God's word.
Her interests were an expression of her nurturing spirit. Sewing, cooking, and gardening were not mere hobbies for Olga; they were avenues through which she expressed her creativity, her love for her family, and her worship of the Creator. The dishes she cooked were not just food; they were manifestations of her desire to provide comfort and sustenance to those she held dear. The garments she sewed were not just cloth and thread; they were armor of love, crafted to protect and warm the bodies and souls of her loved ones. The gardens she tended were not just plots of earth; they were Eden-like havens where the beauty of nature testified to the glory of Jehovahs' creation.
To know Olga was to know the embodiment of Proverbs 31-a woman of noble character, who laughed without fear of the future. Through her actions and her words, she inspired those around her to live a life of purpose, to cherish each day, and to trust in Jehovah with all her heart. Her unwavering commitment to her faith and her family remains a beacon of hope and a model of courage.
As we mourn the loss of Olga H. Carrizales, we also celebrate her incredible journey. She ran the race set before her with perseverance and faith, and now she rests in the eternal embrace of her Savior. Though her physical presence is no longer with us, her love lives on in our hearts of those she touched. Olga's life was a beautiful reflection of God's love, and her memory will continue to inspire us all to live with faith, love, and a joy that knows no bounds.
