Olga Maha Fry
Olga Maha Fry, 94, of Erie, passed away Tuesday June, 24, 2025 at Saint Vincent Health Center. She was born in Port Vue, PA on February 16, 1931 a daughter of the late Michael and Anna Buleca Maha.
Olga was employed by H.L. Green in McKeesport, PA, the Erie Motel, and Mugs Restaurant.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Charles Ted Fry, whom she married June 29, 1957 and passed away February 14, 2017; one son, Christopher Fry; two daughters, Michele and Alice Fry; one brother, Michael Maha; and three sisters, Margaret Fencik, Helen Galka, and Elizabeth Monahan.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary Fry (Bruce), of Apex, NC; Jane Fry, of Rockville, MD; and Amy Mead (Leonard) of Erie; five grandchildren, Zachary and Olivia Mead, and Daniel, Andrew, and Joseph Emond; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to a graveside service on Tuesday July 1st at 1:30 p.m. at Mary Queen of Peace Cemetery (section 1). Funeral arrangements were made by the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., Erie, 16504.

My deepest sympathies in the loss of your beloved mother. Mrs Fry was a blessing to the whole neighborhood....she was a welcoming presence on Page Street..always loving and warm..she definitely made my childhood better and I am grateful..
