Oliver was the beloved husband of the late Maria (Montoya) Anastacio, who predeceased him in 2017. He was the son of the late Eusebio and Paula (Gonzalez) Anastacio. His memory will be treasured by his loving sons, Oliver Anastacio, married to Susan, and Felipe Anastacio, married to Stacey. His grandchildren, Abigail, Matthew, Patrick, and Emily Anastacio, were the light of his life, and he took immense joy in their every achievement and milestone.

Oliver's educational journey began at P.S. 29 in Brooklyn, NY, and continued at East NY Vocational & Technical High School. As a junior, he joined the U.S. Navy Reserve. Upon graduation from East NY, he transferred to the United States Army where he attended the U.S. Army Communications Specialist School. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War Era. Professionally, Oliver dedicated many years as a Building Superintendent in Brooklyn Heights. He also worked as a Technician for RCA, a Platform Man at Owens' Trucking, and a Maintenance Engineer with Cushman & Wakefield in New York City.
Oliver was an avid fan of the New York Mets, New York Jets, soccer and boxing.
Above all, Oliver valued family. His grandchildren were his greatest joy and spending time with his family and friends was very important to him.
Oliver Anastacio's legacy is one of love, hard work, and the importance of family. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.
