Ollie Rowe McNuer Preston, 94, of Leesville, SC, went to her heavenly home on Thursday, January 23, 2025. Born on April 2, 1930, in Saluda, she was the last surviving child of Evelyn Rowe Jones and Mance Rowe. Mrs. Preston was a seamstress for many years. She loved traveling, her chickens, and most of all her family, as she was a loving mother and grandmother. Mrs. Ollie was currently the oldest and longtime member of Bethel Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Surviving are her children, Shirley Pate (Richard) of West Columbia, SC, Linda McNuer Rodgers (Harvey) of McCormick, SC, Billy Joe McNuer and David McNuer of the home, and a step-daughter, Loretta Griffin of Laurens, SC. She also leaves behind a large family including 18 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, 27 great-great-grandchildren, and one great-great-great-grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert W. McNuer and Pinkney Preston; sons, Rudolph Rowe and Robert Gene McNuer; daughter, Betty McNuer Carter; grandchild, Ellis Ira Scarborough; brothers, Robin Rowe, Benny Roe, and Alton Roe; and sister, Billie McDonald.

The funeral service for Mrs. Ollie will be held at 3 o'clock on Sunday, January 26th, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home, with Pastor Roger Phillips and Reverend Ray Massey officiating. Burial will follow in the Open Bible Church cemetery in Saluda. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, beginning at 2 PM.
