Kimberly Jane "Kimi" Shealy Wright, of Lexington, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 19, 2025. She was born in Columbia on September 15, 1959 and was the daughter of Mary Jane Paxton Shealy and the late Kimball Emanuel Shealy.

Kimi was a graduate of Gilbert High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree from Newberry College, as well as an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies from Midlands Technical College. She was employed with SCANA for many years.

Above all, Kimi cherished her family. She is survived by her brother, Michael Emanuel Shealy (Jackie); and her sister, Miriam Shealy Matthews (Wesley). She was a loving aunt to Michael Bryson Shealy, Jackson Emanuel Shealy, Meredith Matthews Derrick (Robbie), Mackenzie Matthews Taylor (Blair), and Megan Matthews Moore (Michael). She also leaves behind treasured great-nieces and great-nephews who brought her immense joy.

Kimi's gentle spirit extended to all living things, especially her beloved cat, James Franco, who was her constant companion. Her kindness and warmth will be missed by all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
