Omar was such a sweet caring man and I was his auditor at Cvs for many years. He was such a delight to my mom also and I know he will be missed by many. He had such a beautiful smile and I loved to joke around with him. I can´t imagine how hard this is for his loved ones. Omar thanks for
Making my mom and I feel special. Prayers for your family and friends. It´s still hard to believe this tragic event.

I also knew Omar at Ernescliff College that University of Toronto, where he stayed while studying for this two degrees and where I helped run the residence. He was a hard-working and studious. He was here to help his family by taking advantage of his education and that was firmly part of his mindset. At the same time, he had a mischievous sense of humour and loved to laugh. I have wonderful memories of the times we went out as a group of friends, I always finished feeling happier than when we started. I will miss him and our conversations, which were infrequent but always a great chance to catch up with a dear friend.

From our first day living at Ernescliff College during our undergraduate degrees at University of Toronto, Omar was a great friend. We grew up during those 4 years and he made the effort to stay in touch after he graduated, got married, and moved around the U.S. with his family.
I´ll always remember how devoted and close he was to his mother when she came to visit him at Ernescliff College - sitting right next to her at get-togethers and always making sure she had whatever she needed. It´s a testament to the kind of son he was - even though she had come to visit him, he took care of her.
I´ll pray for the repose of you soul, Omar! You´ll be missed in this life, and I hope to see you again!
