ORENTON RANDOLPH EVANS

Obituary:

Mr. Orenton Randolph Evans, known affectionately as "Randolph" by his loved ones, passed away on May 7, 2024, in Mans eld, TX. He was born on March 10, 1959, in New Orleans, LA, to the late Claudia Mae Evans and the late Roosevelt Dupas Sr.

He met his soulmate Cheryl Evans and to this union  seven step children came along and one child he raised as his own, Faith Soto.
Throughout his professional life, Mr. Evans dedicated over 15 years to Walmart as a manager in TLE. He brought immense dedication and expertise to his work, leaving a lasting impact on all those encountered.

Mr. Evans's commitment to his family and friends was unparalleled. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, Cheryl Evans, children - Brandon Thomas, Cleotha Thomas, Jaquan Thomas, Orenton Thomas, Demarcus Thomas, Orton Turner, Craig Johnson, and Delizia Duncan. Additionally, his stepchildren - Michael Carter, Antionette Carter, Erica Byrden, Felicia Carter, Latornia Lewis, Jeffery Carter, and Martice Carter.

In his free time, Mr. Evans found joy in working on vehicles and checking in on his extensive network of family and friends. His caring nature and warm presence will be deeply missed.

Services to honor and remember Mr. Orenton Randolph Evans will be held at Golden Gate Funeral Home and Cremation in Fort Worth, TX. A Prayer Service will take place on May 17 at 7:00 PM followed by a Funeral Service on May 18 at 1:00 PM.
