Orvil Lee Miller of Puxico, Missouri was born November 13, 1929, to the late Orvil Lee and Almaretta Miller and passed away on August 18, 2025 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 95 years old.
Orvil graduated high school and entered the military in 1949 where he served almost 4 years. On July 25, 1953 he was united in marriage to Wanda Lee Wilfong and lived most of his life in Puxico but also lived in California for 18 years among other places including, Nevada. He was a member of the Life Chapel in Puxico and was of good faith. Orvil was a good family man and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He loved to go out on his golf cart or just going down town to have coffee and gossip. He will be greatly missed.
Surviving family include: 1 son, Kevin and Linda Miller of Puxico, Missouri and 1 daughter, Vicki and Dellis Cookson of Wappapello, Missouri. He has 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He has 1 brother John Miller of Belleville, IL and 2 sisters, Loretta Friel of O'Fallon, IL and Joyce Cook of Valley Park, Missouri.
Orvil was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Wanda Lee and one granddaughter, Amanda Miller Hodges.
Memorial Service at The Life Chapel in Puxico, Missouri on August 23, 2025. Visitation at 10:00 a.m. Military Service at 10:30 a.m. Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m.
