Oscar Manuel Guerrero Reyes, 68, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, in Roswell NM.
SERVICES: There will be Visitation & Memorial Service at Anderson-Bethany, Visitation starts at 9AM to 12PM, Memorial Service starts at 12PM to 2PM, Burial at South Park 2:45PM, Reception at 4PM at First Spanish Assembly of God "Vision Celestial" 1305 S. Garden Ave, Roswell NM 88203.
On June 28, 1956, Oscar Manuel Guerrero Reyes was born to Pedro Guerrero and Manuela Reyes Guerrero in Nuevo Casas Grandes, Chihuahua. He was married to Evangelina V. Guerrero on June 2, 1977, in Canadian, Texas. Oscar was a biblical scholar in the 1970s before he attended bible school in Las Cruces NM, Instituto Silo in the 1980s and started his pastoral ministry in the early 1990s. He pastored several churches in the USA including New Mexico, Texas, and California. He was a minister of the Assemblies of God, and pastor of First Spanish Assembly of God "Vision Celestial" in Roswell NM since January 2002. Oscar loved working for his heavenly Father in ministry to reach the lost, hurt, sick souls with the purpose of bringing them the hope of the gospel that he found in the word of God. Oscar loved singing and recorded his own CDs during his time as a minister and traveled multiple states in the USA and Mexico singing as well as preaching. Oscar boxed when he was young as a sport with his brothers; he attended live boxing events in his youth. As Oscar matured, he loved to watch pay-per-view boxing events with family and friends. Oscar loved watching Wild West movies and episodes of Dodge City, American Westerns were his favorite shows to watch. Oscar also loved to work in construction and was always staying busy with remodeling projects at home and church. Oscar will be missed by his family, and friends.
