A memorial services for Owen Duffy, 50, of Harker Heights, will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday April 15, 2023 at Young's Daughters Funeral Home. His body was honorably donated to science and his cremated remains will be returned to the family with an Inurnment.
Mr. Owen Duffy died on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at his home.
Owen Duffy was born on November 20, 1972 to Eugene Duffy and Ann Christine (Manning) Duffy in Santa Monica, California. After graduating from Killeen High School in 1991 he furthered his education with minor courses at Central Texas College and completed his associates in science degree at UT Arlington in Dallas, Texas. He started working for a storage facility in Killeen, till he received his degree. Mr. Duffy applied his degree skillset at Dell for two years then as an Information Tech with Apple and worked there till his retirement. Hobbies included watching movies, playing video games, reading, and collecting trinkets. His favorite songs were mostly intros to sci-fi movies, He loved Pizza and will be remembered as a "foodie".
He is preceded in death by his father, Eugene Duffy.
Survivors include his Mother, Ann Christine (Manning) Duffy; one sister, Kathleen Duffy; two nephews, Kendrick Summerhill, Keshaun Summerhill; one niece, Vanessa Duffy and a great-nephew Kane Duffy.
