Pablo Ramos Navarette, age 69, of Barstow, TX, entered into rest on Sunday, May 4, 2025. He was born on July 2, 1955, in Barstow, TX, to the late Calistro and Refugia Navarette.
Pablo dedicated much of his life to public service and community involvement. He served honorably as a firefighter with the Barstow Volunteer Fire Department and as a civil servant for Ward County and the City of Monahans. His selflessness, uplifting spirit, and lighthearted nature left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
In retirement, Pablo found fulfillment in time spent with his loving family, reconnecting with friends, and staying active with hands-on projects. He had a lifelong passion for welding, fabrication, carpentry, and building just about anything. His remarkable work ethic and commitment to creating every opportunity for his family were defining traits.
Pablo was preceded in death by his parents, Calistro and Refugia Navarette, and his brother, Alvaro “Tony” Navarette.
He is survived by his beloved sons: Christopher Navarette and wife Valandrea, Nicholas Navarette and wife Nia, and Timothy Navarette and wife Bernice; his brother Albert Navarette and sister Sandra Jasso; eight adored grandsons: Anthony, Austyn, Angelo, Ranger, Emilio, Ramiro, Noah, and Sebastian Navarette; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and aunts.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 9, from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Pecos Funeral Home.
Funeral services will take place on Saturday, May 10, at 2:00 PM at Pecos Funeral Home, followed by burial at Barstow Cemetery in Barstow, TX.
Pallbearers will be his three sons—Christopher, Nicholas, and Timothy—his eldest grandson Anthony Navarette, and his close friends Alex Luna, Edgar Aviles, and Juan Quesada.
