Palmer H. Arnold, 93, of Elizabethtown, died August 30, 2025. He was born in Red Lion, PA, December 17, 1931, the son of the late Andrew (Andy) and Leitha (Kohler) Arnold. He enjoyed 50 years of marriage with Helen M. (Stokes) Arnold who passed away August 2, 2014. Palmer is survived by his son Richard (Carla) Arnold of Milton, PA, two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was predeceased by three brothers, Dwight, Henry and K. Rex, and two sisters, P. Joan (Jo) Brown and Nina D. Null. He was also predeceased by his very close friend and companion, JoAnn Baily McGurk, who passed May 5, 2025.
Palmer served in The US Navy as an Electronics Technician from 1949 to 1953. He was an Electrical Engineering graduate of Drexel University. He spent his career with Bendix York Division and later Communications Division in Towson, MD, where he retired as an executive in 1987. He was a Master Mason and a member of Riverside Lodge, Wrightsville, PA.
Service and interment will be private per Palmer’s request.
