Pamela Barry Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 1, 2025.
Pamela Kay Boyd Barry was born June 26, 1945, in Dallas, TX and passed away on July 8, 2025, in Dallas. She was 80 years old. Pam is survived by her son Harry Brandt Smith, cousin Joe Davis, Stacy (wife) and Meagan (daughter). She was preceded in death by her father Bill Boyd and her mother Bernice Boyd.
Pam's family moved to Ardmore, OK when she was a small child and shared many precious memories with friends that she has remained close with throughout her life. She was involved with activities such as social clubs, dances, parties at Dornick Hills Country Club, and water skiing at Lake Murray. She also attended a West Point military ball. Pam graduated from high school in 1963, then went on to earn her associate's degree in business at William Woods University in Fulton, MO.
As an adult, Pam returned to Dallas to pursue more career opportunities. She was very dedicated in her work as a Secretary, Executive Assistant and Office Manager for decades. She took much pride serving her employers such as a prominent judge in OK, TGIFridays, Paradigm Suites/Executive Office Suites and Murray Hill Center.
Pam enjoyed music, watching karaoke, traveling and taking cruises with her friends, always having fun and laughing. She had a keen eye for fashion and dressed sharply with the whole nine yards of class, style and grace. She was beautiful inside and out and spread joy to everyone she engaged with. Her unwavering passion was to uplift people and empower them with her positive energy and genuine love that will survive in all our hearts forever.
